INTERCHANGE PROGRAMME
International Alliances and Cultural Exchange
'Pen Pals' Project
As a first stage, Y11 students, aged between 11 and 16, sent us letters after prior contact between teachers.
The First Year High School (Primero Medio) of our school welcomed this idea with great enthusiasm and put their reactions on paper. Their letters are currently on their way to England.
Flat Bripark
In addition, in this opportunity they created a character named 'Flat Bripark', a merged name from both schools. The idea is for this character to travel between both countries carrying correspondence and taking pictures with the children and landscapes of each country.
Acknowledgments
As a school, we appreciate the work of Miss Evelyn Muñoz, teacher at Park Community School, who has supported our 'Pen Pals' project.
Cultural and Virtual Encounter
Last Monday, November 24th, our students and those from Community Park School in Havant, England, had their first contact via Skype.
It was an enriching experience for both students and teachers, and especially for both principals, as they had the opportunity to meet and interact in their native languages.
This activity is framed within the cultural exchange program between both countries.
